Most people think of eggshells as bin fodder, a pointless by-product of their favourite eggy snack. How wrong they are! From facials to fertiliser and craft projects to cleaning products, the humble egg shell can be re-purposed and reused all over your house and garden.

Re eggshells, I like to put them on my compost heap. Also I make sure to put some in my wormery, [worm farm] to keep the soil from going over-acid, hence rancid, and also to provide the worms with a source of calcium.
