I've heard of these - the Bay of Fundy sometimes causes whirlpools. Do you think underneath there was a sinkhole?

The thought had crossed my mind the underneath was a sinkhole. Certainly looked like it. But, at the same time, the lake did not drain of all its water. If there had been a sinkhole, it probably would have!
