We had a crow at one time from a youngster, he decided to join us on the Veg plot while his parents called from the sky above. We thought he would go by the end of day, but didn't, so we put him in a box and brought him home. HE lived with us for a year or so, have a free run in the kitchen, and frequently terroising the Cats lol. He hurt his Wing sadly, so it made him vunerable, we took him to the RSPB who took him in, and gave him sanctury for life.
Thanks for the above posts, it stirred a fond memory.
What a lovely story, Wing. Glad that your crow eventually found a sanctuary for life after he had become injured.
It's a pity that crows have been persecuted by man in the past. I think that now they have an inbuilt fear of man. I get hooded crows in my garden, eating the bird food, but it is quite difficult to capture them on camera as they are so nervous and fly away soon as they see it.
Thanks for bumping up that old thread, Wing. I had forgotten about it. LOL!
