She was stunning in "The Color Purple". I think it was her finest moment in acting.

She has achieved a great deal with her show, in bringing issues to people's' awareness. Also, she has encouraged people to read books they mightn't have known about, but for her.

I used to watch her show every day, but towards the end, I went off it.
