Science just explained to us why dogs are SO happy to see us when we walk through the door

Well, science might have an answer for us. There are two factors for this: 1) how dogs have evolved over the years from wolves; and 2) dog curiosity. It’s a thing.

This reminds me of my cat. When she leans on me and put scent marks on my dad's car after he arrives from work etc. and she's always happy to see him and always greets my dad when arrives and spends time with me when she can or meows by the window when she's hungry. She also likes licking my feet sometimes and marking her territory all over the house, especially the garage which I call her cave. ^^
