This is a sad story about a whale that got got stranded in a small harbour of the coast off Ireland in the last couple of days. Crowds of people stood watching as the whale thrashed around injuring itself in the water, It had been hoped that it could have found its way out of the harbour on high tide , but twice it failed to do that. It became a foregone conclusion that it was going to die. Sadly, it died last night.
