Puppies seized at Dublin Port

Dublin Port Officials and Gardai have taken 11 puppies into care following the search of a car attempting to board a ferry destined for the UK.

Far too much of this kind of thing escapes detection. Recent legislation controlling illegal "puppy mills" has been tightened up, but more needs to be done. Good that they caught this woman. Hope she pays the price, whatever it may be!

Considering that dogs are supposed to be licensed animals it seems remarkable the amount of abuse that goes on in so many ways, from the breeding to dangerous dogs, dog fighting, and using dogs for hunting.
