A 10-square-foot kitchen does not lend itself to owning a bevy of kitchen appliances and a big lineup of tools. With very limited storage space, it was time for me to prioritize what items were truly essential in my kitchen. I had a small collection of the kitchen items I needed. I had to make choices and really learn which ones I loved and leaned on the most.
My kitchen dates back to the seventies and yes! it's about 10ft square. Storage and work space are two major problems. A great space-saving tip I've found, is to use empty cassata (pureed tomatoes) bottles for storing cereals - those that don't come in huge amounts. The bottles are tall with wide mouths, so don't take up much space on the shelf. Advantage is you can see what's inside them, and they look nice labeled with rectangular sticky labels used for postage.
