Gardaí: Kidnapped woman ‘lucky to escape with life’

This happened at a roundabout I used to pass every day on my way to work. I heard on the news tonight that the man has since died in hospital. The woman really had a very lucky escape.

Gardaí believe that a woman may have escaped with her life after she chanced upon two uniformed officers during an armed kidnap at the hands of her jilted boyfriend.
