If you know of, or have read, any books that help towards living life a little better or easier - here is the place to post the details.
Here's - for starters.
Stuck on Stop How to QUIT Procrastinating by Vicki Hitzges
About the Book:
There’s still plenty of time before this assignment is due... I’ll get to it tomorrow...
Procrastination is something we typically learn when we are kids and is something that we may struggle with your entire lives. What we often fail to understand is that procrastination, putting off tasks, makes a person ordinary (at best). We can’t do our finest work at the last minute. Creativity is a process. It takes time.
The good news is that we can learn how to stop procrastinating...how to get assigments done right away. Nothing beats the satisfaction of having the project complete, the assignment thought through, the task done.
In Stuck on Stop by Vicki Hitzges shares strategies to get you going when you’d rather do anything else but work. The guidelines work only if you do. And the payoff is great.
That does sound like a good book! One author I'd like to recommend that I don't believe we've talked about before is Don Miguel Ruiz. I have 4-5 books of his; if you haven't read any start w/ "The Four Agreements". Commons sense & written in clear English, wonderful writer.
Sounds like my style of book. I have all of the Carlos Castaneda books, which I've read a long time ago. I might not be so interested in reading them again at this stage in my life - but Don Miguel Ruiz sounds interesting.
