You may notice at the right-hand side of our screen - a new addition - " PEEKABOO CLICK"! We have a side-table, which is a first for SeasonS! Three A giant step for SeasonS!
If you click on "Peekaboo Click", over on the right of you screen, you will be taken to a table listing groups of smileys. This refers to the groups in our smiley drop-down menu. We have 330 smileys and finding which one you're looking for may become a bit of a pain, at times.
I have tried as much as possible to group our smileys in a logical fashion. My latest addition has been to number each group. What Peekaboo Click refers to is the numbering of these groups.
Here is the numbered list of smiley groups that is behind Peekaboo Click. You'll find the numbers on this list correspond with the numbers I've inserted before each group in your Extra smiley drop-down menu.
You use this side-table in conjunction with your smiley drop-down menu. Instead of scrolling up and down looking for the group you want, just click on Peekaboo Click and you will find the number of the group you're looking for. That's all it does. The list is not clickable . It's just WYSIWYG - what you see is what you get. Rather clever, all the same, if I may say so!
You can use this as you are creating new threads, posting, replying, editing etc. Enjoy!
Acknowledgement: The Plugin on which this Peekaboo Side-table is built has been created by Pebble (Proboards Support) and he has been very helpful helping me to set it up to suit our needs. Many thanks, Pebble, if you happen to drop in here!

I can't believe you ladies! How much plainer can I explain it?
Okay let's take an example: You are replying to a post and you want a smiley that you know is in a particular group - let's say Critters. Normally you would have to scroll up and down looking for the group Critters - sometimes not finding it. I've done this loads of times, and I'm the one who has set up the groups in the first place!
To get around this, I have prefixed numbers to the group headings. Then, after a lot of soul-searching, I came up with the idea of a table showing the groups with the numbers in front. It was a matter then of putting the table, with the list, somewhere, where it would be quickly and easily accessible. I thought of having it is a thread or posted up like a widget on the top of every page etc. etc. After much playing around with the idea I thought it could be in a side-table, such as Peekaboo.
Next was how to install a side-table, which I had never done before and then how to get the list, with the smiley groups, into the side-table, once installed. Believe you me, this was not easy. Having gone a part of the distance, I had to call on the assistance of Pebble, the author of the plugin, to iron out the details.
So, before clicking on your Smiley Icon, click on Peekaboo to find out the number of the group you are looking for. Keep the number in mind. Close Peekaboo. Then proceed to Smileys and go straight to your group, without an excess of scrolling. Does that explain it?
Personally, I think it is BRILLIANT! It speeds up looking for smileys, of which we have 330 or more!
Far as I know, this use of a peekaboo side-bar is unique. Certainly I never have seen one used in the same way by anybody else. even if I say so myself!
