My cat Minnie had been meowing excessively for some time. By the time I took her to the vet, she had lost a lot of weight. The vet looked at me suspiciously and I though he was going to have me up for "animal cruelty". Turns out Minnie was very ill and needed attention. I felt very bad about that.
