Some good advice there. Unfortunately my experience with vets has been most, and by 'most' I mean the vast majority, are insensitive and lack compassion. Now, granted, this could be due to a defense mechanism so they don't get too close or allow their feelings to effect their diagnosis and prognosis and end up emotional ruins. But, their bedside manner needs work. And like human doctors, animal doctors are guided to a large extent by the pharmaceutical companies, guided and manipulated. Afterall, money is what these professions seek.
