These two pigeons and blackbird like to pick up the "crumbs" that fall from the bird-feeders that are suspended from the clothes-line overhead. Also the magpies (not seen here), are waiting for the seeds to fall on that ground, so that they can swoop down and pick them up.
This is a Hooded Crow, or Grey Crow, as it's generally referred to in Ireland. They are black and grey, with a black hood. Difficult to get a close pic, as they are nervous around humans, and any sudden movement sends them flying off.
They like to scavenge on the ground around the bird feeders, but perch in high places surveying the scene, before they decide to come down closer.
