Mine is a courtyard but the front yard is kinda big. My dad just put a new cement and fence but then again, he could've used the money to put in a new shower for my mom who's disabled, oh dear dad. Yeah.
Your Dad's heart is in his garden, so it seems, Tomonag! With a garden it's necessary to put in the effort to maintain it. Otherwise, it takes over. This summer, I sowed a lot of salad veggie seed, but between a hot spell earlier followed by a rainy spell, most of it has run to seed. All it's fit for is the compost heap! LOL! At least, it will make nice healthy compost for the worms and insects!
The onion flower got cricked when he planted a tree from the front yard to the backyard but don't worry it's alive, just saying since this is a garden chat. Before it was growing without being underground in the dirt. Interesting if you ask me. ;
The peaches. I had some, afraid they may have some big bugs in them since I ate more last year and there was one and was afraid, don't ask lol.
My dad finally learned what impulsion means, which means no more throwing objects, like seeds into the garden even though I've it learned from him thinking it was okay. So I'm silly girl but he did it more than I did, so sue me. >>;
Our garden is a little wild garden and a forest my dad says and I have to somewhat agree with him with all the Heathers, Ferns, Roses, Peach Trees and etc. Yeah all good. ^___^
