Tornado hunter Ricky Forbes was driving in Kootenay National Park in British Columbia when he noticed a cub stranded on a busy road dangerously close to traffic as its concerned momma bear looked on from behind a concrete barrier.
Forbes pulled over and started filming what he described as “the coolest thing I’ve ever seen”: a momma bear rescuing its cub. Watch just how cool it was on this video posted by the U.K. MailOnline, which also offers a few instant replays:
Animals have always been intelligent, just that humans didn't want to deal with it, LOL. Now more and more people cultivate that intelligence in their pets, and also look for it in all animals, wild or domestic.
In terms of survival of the fittest, I think there are many species that will be on this planet, after we have died out.
I was watching one of those "Hoarding, Buried Alive" programs the other night. The unforunate woman the owned the house had rats that were bigger than the extermiantor had ever seen in his life. They had learned how to set off of the traps and then take the cheese off! LOL! Rats are the winners as regards ability to survive.
