I saw this lady on the farming program, Ear to the Ground, this week. Her understanding of how cows feel and think is truly amazing. She has helped the designers of a new abattoir in Ireland re how to make it as stress free as possible for the cows, by understanding their psychology. The lady herself is autistic and was not able to speak till she was nearly four years old. Because of this, she says, she can relate extremely well to how "dumb" animals feel and think. Amazing!

I read about her too. It's neat.
